My name is Sebastian Lange. I’m a creative-director, designer and animator from Freiburg, Germany. This is my personal portfolio for experimental and passion projects. I studied at Basel School of Design in Switzerland with main focus on visual communication, film, motion graphics and typography. I’m currently building up my own agency called DOTS – together with two partners.

Since 2003 I have been working on many film, advertising and animation projects that have been featured and awarded in a number of film festivals, competitions and publications around the world (including 3 x TDC New York Award, iF Communication Design, HKDA Global Design Award, Annual Multimedia, Brand New Awards, Animago Award and World Media Festival). I have many years of experience in creating and visualizing concepts for advertising, digital communication and moving image campaigns.

Since 2014 I’m a guest lecturer at the International School Of Design Cologne, Germany and at FHNW Academy of Art and Design, Basel.

Apart from my commercial projects I did a lot of experimental work in the field of music, motion design and kinetic typography collaborating with artists like Will.I.Am (Black Eyed Peas), The Gaslamp Killer, Eric Wahlforss (former CEO Soundcloud), director and fashion photographer Jacob Sutton and designer, publisher and curator Felix Ng.

I have worked freelance for clients in Europe, the US and Asia like EY, Condé Nast, Diesel, UNIQLO, IBM, Soundcloud, Deutsche Bank, Deutsche Bahn, AARP, I-D Magazine, Haufe Group, Schaeffler among many others.
